hello again.
Oh dear goodness. So. It has been a long minute since I have ‘blogged’.
Does anyone even read blogs anymore?
I know I do.
No. Really. I do read blogs. There are a good handful of blogs that I read routinely and am so thankful that they are still in existence and just let me read.
I like to just read.
I don’t always want to watch a video.
Am I the only one?
Seriously though…I digress!
Jumping in here today because even though the days have been painful and difficult, here’s the thing: life is painful and difficult.
I know a many of you are going through stuff. The stuff that life is made of. Yet you still pop in and say hello and leave kind words and encouraging remarks.
Thank you. Thank you for doing just that.
I’m not a a sitter-around kind a gal. I like doing stuff. Now, the stuff I like to do on a Sunday afternoon in the fall does indeed require me to sit around because this girl loves to watch football. So I guess I do sit around for that. But that’s only Sunday. There are six more days to the week and I like to do stuff.
Oh wait. Said that already.
So when I am not sitting around in the fall watching football I am probably making fallish things. Which is what I really want to talk about here. These inky and stamped and die cut leaves. Oh my goodness how I love them so. I just keep returning to them for you see I enjoy making a bunch of them up and then having them at the ready. Lately, I have just been dropping them in a Stack N Sort tray and keeping them on a work surface. And sure enough, I have returned to this lovely autumnal pile again and again. It’s way better than raking leaves in one's yard. The making is far superior to that if you ask me.
Would love to invite you, if you have not watched already, the making of these lovely leaves. There is a VIDEO TUTORIAL that is happy and popular over on the YouTube Channel. It’s just there for the watching. But it takes you from start to finish on the making of these leaves as well as some clusters.
So I hope you too will take some time to take some time. To make. To make some seasonal stuff. To enjoy the making and see what other thinks you can think with your creativity.
Thank you for reading. Say hey in the comments. I love to hear from you all and try my best to respond to each and every message. If you do try these leaves out don’t forget to tag me on Instagram! Love love to know what you all are making too.
