Have been so very excited about this newest mini album class. It was in the midst of some hard emotions that I was working this one out. But also timely too. As creativity helps to heal the mind and the soul. And in many respects it did just that. Perhaps those September days would have been harder if I had not thrown myself into a creative challenge. As with so many things, yet again, grateful.
Which this could be. This could for certain be a gratitude album. I’m never going to dissuade a person from making an album to be home to any subjects on one’s heart. An Album For All Season is the name of this book. And that’s just what it is.
Hey friends...when you shop these links I receive a small kick back from your sales from ScrapbookCom and Heidi Swapp Shop. There is absolutely no extra cost to you at all! Also, the opinions expressed in my blog and my YouTube Channel and all social platforms are independently my own.
As is obvious, the version here is very autumnal. And that’s because of that beautiful 49 and Market Vintage Orchard that came to me and said: make something fantastic with all the gorgeous pattern. So. I did. Well. At least I think it’s gorgeous. From the response I was getting to early sneak peeks I sorta feel you all thought it was gorgeous too. So I just might be in good territory on that.
As with most of my mini albums this one was crafted after another mini album I conceptualized a while back. The thing is…that nothing is ever the same. This one brought a bit of an extra challenge to the extra flippy portion at the end. You will see that if indeed you jump into the classroom with us. The pages are constructed in such a way that one could add more to this mini and really fill it up real good like.
The thing with these mini album classes is that I share ALL the details from very start to end. OK. Well. That is not completely honest. Because the embellishing never seems to stop. So there might actually be a few tweaks here and there that might not get shared in the video content.
However, that being said, you won’t miss a thing. Honestly. There is not only the construction of this book’s unique binding, but there are also the differing sizes with the pages.
Oh…then let’s not forget that flippy addition at the back as mentioned beforehand. The embellishing comes to fruition both flat as well as our favorite way: clustered. It’s just a win win creative situation all around.
Super eager to jump back into the mini album idea with a mini mini album. Having used 12x12 chipboard to trim this down to the album size, there are some off cuts that are sitting on my work space getting pushed around. And I really want to make an extra mini version of this Season album. Wish me luck. And be sure to stick around as I will post that when it’s done.
OK. So. There is a VIDEO that walks through this completed album. I will add that HERE. I hope you will watch and see if this is an idea for you. This class has been well loved. Which makes me think that if you are in here reading this that you will love it too.
Find the class HERE if you wanna just go jump in with all your limbs and go for it.
And I appreciate your being here and reading this. ANd if you take this class? Thank you so very kindly for doing so.
And p.s…the listed video also is home to the entire supply list one would need for the making of this project. Thank you again.
Thank you for reading. Say hey in the comments. I love to hear from you all and try my best to respond to each and every message. If you do make this mini album don’t forget to tag me on Instagram! Love love to know what you all are making as well.
