But then...there comes a minute when you just need some quiet down time.
Enter the back to the making.
Back to the making for me was some serious play. I knew I just wanted to play with some color. Some clustering. And a new to me die set.
So...that's what I did.
This here is a look at the work in progress. Talk about a happy place. And it's sort of funny...I keep seeing other makers posting about just the making. Just the time to stamp. Or cluster. How helpful it is to their mindset. And in fact. There is so much to that. It's really true.
So I just took to challenging myself to make with some inked backgrounds. As well as this ModaScrap Postage Die. Gosh I love love that die set. And also I wanted to give some space for the new rub ons. This one here is called All That Glitters. So this is me really trying to keep it simple.
So once I had this vibe and palette going on, I sort of then ventured to shop my stash. I shopped around for more color ways with the three Distress colors I am basing this all on: Tattered Rose Oxide, Antique Linen Distress, and Speckled Egg Oxide. All sprays this time. Be sure and catch the video I am posting here too. We start off with the inky backgrounds. Making this super easy. But oh so beautiful the results. And happy the therapy it all is.
Ok. So. Enjoy the bit of eye candy here. But watch the epic video. You will really get into my thought process for the crafting of these different cluster ideas.
Let me know what you think. Let me hear from you in the comments.
