new year. new making.
If you are here and reading this post, that tells me you are one or more of several things:
a) and maker of pretty papery things
b) a story teller and journaler and documenter
3) and maker of pretty papery things who likes to tell your story
Am I right?
To kick of this new year I am sharing here, thanks to ScrapbookCom, new Tim Holtz Vault Collection Dies. There are just three of the new collection sitting here on my work space. And I am in love!
I'm in love I'm in love and I don't care who knows it!
Yes. Indeed. Swooning over beautiful dies that lend themselves to DIY gifting, floral layering, plus butterflies.
Need I say more?
In the above two images you are seeing an ode to the Vault Scribbly Butterfly.
So may possibilities with these dies. A pillow box (which is what the Vault Scribbly Butterfly is sitting on). A tag that can be used to cut a whole lotta paper types out. Then a card that fits inside the bag. I'm thinking hidden journaling too. Yes to that! Then those vintage tags that we will be using over and over again.
What do you think so far?
Lastly I wanna share with you one die set that has already been mentioned: Vault Wildflowers.
Who is here for layers of flowers? I for one say yes to that!
This situation here is gonna call for having these already pre cut out of solid paper, or patterned paper as you can see above (Used THIS Cozy patterned paper for that one...because green). Or even your mixed media papers that you don't know what to do with. You have any of those? Cut them up with the wildflowers and just have fun!
OK. So...there is my gushing over these new dies. New dies in the studio always makes me silly happy.
I want to thank ScrapbookCom for sending me this selection of the new collection. Had so much fun making up these samples. Can't wait to incorporate these into my planner, One Word Album, as well as my monthly stories inserts.
