quick gift idea for you
Can you relate to the emotion of making and it starts to look really cute and then it's all done and you sort of squeal to yourself because it's just so darn cute?
Yeah?
Me too!!!
As I shared the Mini Gift Card Album on my channel, I asked the question if there was want for more gift ideas.
The answers were a resounding yes!
Here's the thing. We have great papers. (or we have want for more beautiful papers...LOL) We probably have chipboard around. And we have people we love that we want to make for. So...now for another idea for the making.
In this video I share easy steps to craft this slim, mini, tall journal that is just the perfect size for a gift.
What will you need?
pattern and solid paper. But really...it's whatever.
A piece of chipboard.
Adhesive. I like the wider size like THIS one for these type projects.
Then...whatever you would like to embellish with.
Oh...and a regular o' office size stapler.
We will make a slim journal that fits inside this cover. That in itself could be giftable. But why stop there? Go on. Watch the rest of it, see how we make it a bit more substantial with a chipboard backer.
Use the ideas shared here to alter it for your own slim journal idea. Make it all Christmasy. Craft one for the New Year and jot down all the hopes and wishes you have for them for 2024. Create this little gift journal all fall like and give it as a gift at Thanksgiving.
