when new stuff arrives
It's Wednesday.
It's work space Wednesday.
And there is brand-newness here today that is actually on my work space.
Sizzix just recently released their new Scoring Board and Trimmer. An all-in-one sort of tool that does more than one thing. It does lots of things, to be honest with you.
A creative hub if you will.
It's a lot of tool, and it's available for a a fantastic price for a limited time at Scrapbook.com.

It was amazing how quickly I unboxed this trimmer and went right to work making a just a couple of the makes this tool was designed to do. I'll share those in a moment.
Besides the projects I figured out how to do in just a little bit of time, the Scoring Board and Trimmer also can create cards, bags, and rosettes.
The tool is set up to be able to accommodate either Metric or Imperial measurements.
There is also a QR code that takes you directly to a Sizzix site that supplies additional videos and education + a box generator for measuring to create boxes.
Oh. And speaking of boxes, let me show you what I quick-fast-in a hurry made with the board.
Envelopes. There is a tool included with the Scoring Board called a Metric Envelope Matrix. That's a handy dandy tool, I gotta tell ya. In the video I made that compliments this post I share just exactly how it works. But suffice to say, the Scoring Board and Trimmer has an envelope mode to make a plethora of envelope sizes. It's pretty amazing. So. We made an envelope to fit a 3x4 card. Super easy.
I've decided this board allows for very quick crafting of a tag. Here's the thing. Tags have these angle cuts at the top corners, right? Well. I can't eye ball that and free hand cut to save my soul. So. I don't. But now there is this handy-dandy tool to quickly craft a tag of any size desired. Be sure to watch the video to see how quickly that came to be.
OK...com' on! Look at this cutey little box. I got so tickled making this sweet little holder of whatever it is I want it to hold. This is charming. Easy. Comes with measurements. A great, great! way to make a box. Yeah. Made that also in the video. I may or may not have been a bit geeky about it.
Then there is the bunting or banner, as it were. Easy instructions guide one in making banner pieces of various sizes. As I said in the video, you could pretty much just make a little party right there on that new fangled Trimmer.
I hope if you are in the market for new trimmer tool that you will check this one out. It's pretty special. I had much fun crafting with it. Found it very easy to use. And it might just be that the possibilities are endless for the making of the stuff with the Sizzix Scoring Board and Trimmer.
