crafting tradition
We are coming in hot here working on this year's December Stories. It's sort of been a minute since I have focused on story like this. It does something to a soul when we take time to sort through photos. Relive the moment that is past. Then write about the memory. The take away. The part we don't want to forget.
Sharing today is Story No. 3 in this year's album. You can watch this series right HERE. I will be posting the process video to these pages soon. In the meantime I just wanted to share some of the crafted details to this the story of going on our tree hunt.
As true to form this embellishment cluster was made to be the holder to the '3' that marks this story. Using Holiday Wishes from 49 and Market plus ScrapbookCom Christmas Patterned paper the rest of the embellishment was made.
I used the Nested Tree Die. The Festive Numbers Alpha. As well as brand new Spellbinders Squiggles Dies. Um. #obsessed. That's all I'm a gonna say. You'll see what I mean in that video.
I mostly stayed inside the page pockets for this story. This story to be told was very photo eccentric. I knew it would be based on the activity we were involved in as well as the family we were with. It was easier to print photos at 3x4 then pocket them. Which is exactly what I did with about 10 photos. I love when a story is photo heavy like this. I mean, it's the name of the game, right?
Be sure to follow along in this series if you are looking for some ideas for you December album.
Plus you can watch THIS playlist for lots of ideas plus process happening on these pages.
