thoughts on making and giving
So. I have a question, or two.
Are you a card maker?
Do you like to make stuff?
Does it interest you to do something kind for someone else.
Well then have I got a creative exercise in kindness for you. This exercise utilizes all the above questions. Cards. Making. And giving. Doing something for someone else.
Next question:
Have you heard of Cards for Kindness™? And did you know there is a stamp set just for that cause?
OK. Getting ahead of myself. Here's the thing.
Cards For Kindness™ is a global initiative that is all about lifting others up. This by way of handmade cards for just about anyone who needs said card. Get this: volunteer card makers from around the globe make cards. After making said cards the cards are then sent to Cards For Kindness.
Then...get this...those cards are utilized to give an uplifting word to veterans, frontline workers, first responders, children's hospitals, cancer patients, senior citizens, deployed troops...and on and on it goes.
All we get to do is make the cards, then send them to Cards For Kindness™. Right?!?! I mean...we get to do what we love to do anyway. Then, that making is turned into real tangible caring for someone else.
But wait...there's more.
Today, August 30, ScrapbookCom is making available a Card Makers Essential Bundle for practically free. It's not really free. That's why I said practically.
This bundle retails for $28 but (until supplies last) is available for $9.99.
Take a look at it again here in the next photo:
