what's not to love?
Ever get on a creative tangent?
Me? Nah!!! Never.
Ha ha. If you are new here you may actually believe me.
If you are old here, and by old I don't mean old, then you know that I am confessing here my current creative tangent. The tangent springs from the exclusive die set called Nested Pocket Dies from ScrapbookCom.
I have had these dies for awhile now. And I decided to exploit them. You know what I mean. Make and make with them. I have so many ideas in my head. This post today is just yet another one of those Nested Pocket Dies creations.
This little vintage number is not my first foray into this particular Nested Pocket Layers. But it is a most recent make. I had an older version that I share in my video up on my inspiration board. I'm like...why have I not shared this with my die loving friends yet? So sharing I am. Because things like this are just too good to not share. And because sharing is caring. OK...I digress.
As I explain in the video, this is just really a matter of taking these dies here:
adhereing backs to them. Then layering them from back to front, large to smallest.
What is addictive about this project, is all the myraid patterns or colors or collections or textures you could use to make one. It's fantastic. It's literally so easy to make a masterpiece of layers with this sort of idea. Truly, I'm addicted. Trying to figure out time to just sit and make more.
Anyway, I am gushing a bit. That's because it's been such a fun make and even more fun to share with you my crafty friends. Not only that, I have been inspired by the project schemes I am seeing you all make and post as well.
Take a look at the how-to right here in this video below. Let me know if you too are making the Nested Pocket Layers. And how you are using them. Or giving them away.
Just lovely Jaime!
