brand new on the work space today
Welcome back to Work Space Wednesday.
Work Space Wednesday is an ongoing series here on the blog that shares with you what is actually working for me here in the studio. What is working on my actual work space for the making of things. Then also what is working for me by way of storage and organization. And everything in between.

We all have stuff. We all need to cull the stuff so that it does not take over our space. (We also need to de-clutter the not used any more stuff to help in that arena as well.)
So here we are with a brand new idea for the craft room. Studio. Office. Or maybe even your kitchen.
Introducing the newest Craft Room Basic and Storage Solution that is the Small Envelope Organizer. The small envelopes are storage envelopes that are an exclusive Craft Room Basics from ScrapbookCom. I had my storage envelopes in a smaller big. These envelopes are currently holding the smaller of my dies. But I was actually running out of room. Was super excited to now have this organizer that fits so many of the envelopes.

The storage unit is 6 inches wide. It's 12 1/2 inches long. And about 4 inches tall. Each of the compartments are 6 inches deep and 5.75 inches wide. Perfect for holding the small envelopes. Or, really, anything that will fit in it's dimensions.
The organizer is also compatible with most cubic storage units. Two of these easily fits a shelf in my Kallax cube unit. Plus, it will now be so eas just to grab the Small Envelope Organizer and sit it on my work space with ALL my smaller dies at the ready. These little things make me so dang happy.
The storage solution is make of heavy duty ultra thick gray board. Just like all the other Craft Room Basics. One could alter these to fit their style. My preference is to keep them white and clean. Just makes for a bit more linear and minimalistic vibe in my studio. And if you think my studio is minimalistic I have some beach front property here in Colorado to sell you.
Bottom line, the storage ideas are endless. The organization possibilities are vast. This is a well made, and well priced, organizational solution. It's finding a home right here in my studio. Perhaps you too have found a new solution for your craft supplies as well.
