One Way to Wrap Up the Month | Stamp Review

The end of the month conjures up a lot of thoughts and inspirations for those of us that are stampers and tag makers and paper crafters extraordinaire.

• wrapping up our Memory Planners
• starting a fresh new month in our albums
• tag creations to mark a new month
• possibly decluttering some old
• reviewing what we already own and putting it to work

OK. So I made that last one up. 

But that is just what this post is about...a review of what is already in our stash...and are we making the most of the stamps we do have?

 

For those of us in the States it's coming upon a long weekend for July 4th. And so there have been two stamp sets from Heidi Swapp Shop this past month that are all things to celebrate these patriotic holidays.

And you can find Fireworks HERE.

Without a doubt Land of Liberty is unabashedly focused on July 4 / Independence Day.

But Fireworks is a stamp that works for anywhere, anytime, any place. I have even heard from my dear Canadian friends that July 1 is Canada Day. The Fireworks stamps is primed and ready to celebrate that as well.

Not to mention, celebrating a person that needs some fireworks in their life. You know what I preach: make and give. Make tags or cards or a series of both and give them away and let someone know THEY are a firework!

Then there is the July Captions Stamp. Admittedly, this one is sold out. But here's the thing about that:

Just because a stamp set is sold out does not mean you can't still get it. There is an option you can click on: 'Notify Me'. Do that! Click on it! 

Here's what that does: when we click 'Notify Me' we are communicating to Heidi Swapp Shop that someone wants that. It creates a list for that particular item. It adds to the list as people continue to click 'Notify Me'. It's an important way to communicate that a stamp set is still needed in the world. In our creating world. 

Plus...if you missed July can I remind you that you do NOT want to miss that gnome? Speaking from a now converted gnome stamping gal...ya need the gnome!!!
