this happened. pocket time.
Remember when I told you I was going to get back to some more story telling?
Well. I'm doing just that.
And I'm lovin' it!!!
Today's post is a compliment to the story telling. We are creating spaces for journal cards. Project cards. Personal ephemera. It's a very practical addition to the story telling. It's a place to hold the words and extras of story telling.
Are you here for it?
The tutorial for this post can be found on my YouTube channel. It's actually really really simple. It's a matter of taking strips of pattern paper, adding 1/8 inch double sided adhesive tape to three edges. Then adhering to the page.
The bottom pocket here is 2 inches tall. Then the next two pockets are 1 1/2 inches tall.
Then, as a little bonus, I share adding in this cutey CELEBRATE die into the mix. Because. Vellum. haha. I love vellum!!!
When it's all done, you realize it took no time at all to craft. And the possibilities are multiple. You could add more strips for more pockets. You could add this to mini album pages. Could be cute on a card. Maybe even a large tag. Yep. Paper pockets for the win, my friends.
Be sure to check out the video below. And let me know in the comments if this is something you would add to your scrapbook pages.
