brand new Work Space Wednesday
Work Space Wednesday is back. This week I am talking about something in my work space that is new to the studio. While I have used this product over and over again, this one in particular is new.
We paper crafters need adhesives. There are a lot of opinions on adhesives. And, there are a lot of different type adhesives for different paper crafting needs.
This little chat today is about the new roller adhesives found at Scrapbookcom. These are ideal for card makers, scrapbookers, and memory planners. These rollers are the classic adhesive runner we all have at least one of in our work space.

The tape runners I am refering to are the Deluxe Adhesive Roller, the Permanent Tape Adhesive Roller, and the Dotted Tape Adhesive Roller.
First up is the Deluxe Adhesive Roller. Not only does it match most of the makes here on my table, but this is seriously my new favorite tape runner. It feels good in my hand. It feels solid. That is to say, it is ergonomically comfortable.
The tape itself is a little wider than I have used previously. It's wider than a 1/4 inch. The application is a solid line of adhesive. It works very well and keeps things right where I put them.
I'm using this roller on all the classic mediums like:
cardstock
patterned paper
vellum
photos
ephemera
tags
die cut bits
It's super sticky. And with 98 feet of adhesive is gonna last you for awhile.
The only draw back I am hearing is that it is not refillable. I'm a just gonna have to buy more because I really like this Deluxe Adhesive.
Next up is the Dotted Adhesive Roller.
Unlike its pink cousin it IS refillable. Like it's cousin it's just as dependable.
The dotted aspect of this roller makes it repositionable. I love that. It's hard for me to comitt to placement. Am I alone? Once it dries it becomes permanent. There is a goodly amount of time to move the adhered item before it becomes permanent.
I love the yellow. It's bright and cheery. All the new roller adhesives are just pretty. As the image at top shows, I really do house them all together in a bowl, you know, because aesthetics are everything.
Lastly, but not least of the three adhesive rollers is the Permanent pretty green one. This one is refillable as well. It is super easy to refill with the refill cartridges. And it's permanent, so it's just a matter of preference as to which type adhesive roller you prefer.
Or...be like me and have all three at the ready.
I hope you are inspired to add these or at least one of these adhesives to your work space. To be honest, I am surprised how much I like the Adhesive Runners. The sticking power is fantastic. The ergonomic component is wonderful. And there is plenty of roller adhesive for all our makes.
Let me know what you think when you do.
