hey. lots of love and a freebie here
It's the season of love. But hey. Shouldn't every season be that in which we share love and our creativity with others?
I say yes to that.
Today's make includes a free download for this banner that says You Are Loved.
As my mom has been in the hospital all the weekend, I wanted to add a little something something to her room. Making this was, of course, an act of love. While I was in the midst, I printed a second banner as I am sure I will come across someone else here soon who needs to know the same that : You Are Loved.
In the making of this banner, I also added in a couple of heart shapes to string along with the sentiment. The Heidi Swapp February Sentiments Stamp was used. I stamped the sentiment I Love You So Much as well as the ILYSM and made little banners from them. Layered with some trim, a larger v-notched tag, and a heart shape created little embellished clusters between the words.
To make this banner, I printed the freebie through my laser printer. This then enabled me to foil the letters through the Minc Machine. Rose Gold foil is my go-to foil right now. Do you ever do that? Reach for the same products for a spell? I sort of do that. Stick with similar colors and shades for a season of makes.

After the banner was made, I tucked it inside a glassine bag. The bag was wrapped with a swath of ribbon that I colored with Tattered Rose Oxide Spray. Then this Hey Lots of Love tag was tied to the bag with the ribbon. Here I am using the Heidi Swapp January Stamp Society to create the tag that includes the 'hey' in that set. The 'Lots of Love' and 'XO' and the hearts belong to the February Captions Stamp.
Before closing out this post I just want to add a few ideas:
1. If you do not have a Minc Machine that's fine. You can still make use of the free download.
2. You can print it out and still create a banner with additional embellishments.
3. Or, you could trace this in your digital die cutting machine and cut out the letters for a whole other look. Don't let the 'I don't have a Minc' ever stop you from making anything. We are creative people and there is more than one way to string a banner.
Hope this post inspires you to make for someone. Tell someone they are loved. Make it a random act of kindness. String it up in your own home and tell your people. Again. The possibilities are endless when we set out to tell others they are loved.
