it's the second edition of Craft Tool Tuesday
And in this second post in the series that I have dubbed (Cool) Craft Tool Tuesday, I am sharing a make with a most lovely die set called Nested Fancy Circle Borders. So fancy, no? Yes!!! You will love these.
These Nested Fancy Circles are going to come in handy in so many of your makes. You know how we always suggest when you get a new stamp set to just play with it? Grab scrap paper and ink pads and just get use to the stamp set? I think the same with this die set. I went about cutting up a bunch of circles in all the sizes. Then, I had an assortment to play with after I realized just how beautiful the cuts were going to be.
I created a random circle design on my layout. This page is found in my 2020 Storyline Chapters Weekly Album. With these circles it was sort of like creating a pattern of a background without having a solid piece of pattern paper. The feel was very light and airy. It created what I believe to be a focus on the photo and story while still adding embellishment.
As a side notd to this layout, I added six more photos under the main photo. Because the back story is always so much fun.
Watch for even more makes with this die set. It's a keeper for sure.
This die set, as many of the new ScrapbookCom Exclusive Dies are, makes for a great, GREAT tool. The possibilities with non-consumable tools like this are endless. Grab this must have tool. Cut out some beautiful circle borders. And tell your story in a beautiful and handmade way.
