Do you have what you feel like is a wide range of beautiful scrapbook collections and paper lines? Do you save them for that perfect page? Have you ever found the perfect page?
Ha ha. I am laughing at myself on that last question. Because, after all, just what is a perfect page? What is it exactly we are waiting for? Why don't we make the perfect page today?
I for one am learning to abandon that idea. And I have a few ideas for doing just that.
First, use the new Storyline Chapters Mini Insert to create some mini scrapbook pages. They are only about 5x7-inches in dimension. They lend themselves to making quick and easy scrapbook layouts in one creative session. They are simply cute!
Secondly...
...a way I find I can make a perfect page is by using the Heidi Swapp Storyline Chapters Project Pad. This all in one pad has (almost) everything a person needs to craft a perfect page. I'm not even kidding. Allow me to break it down for you.
Three Ways to Craft the Perfect Scrapbook Page
First of all: I used a piece of acetate for a little cover page for this Pieces page I made in my Mini Insert. But I needed a title. Using some of the solid cardstock that is included in the Project Pad, I die cut several letters out to create my title. It was great to have coordinating cardstock already part of the paper pad. I knew it would go with whatever else I chose to include on my layout. It's awesome to have it all in one place.
Secondly: included in the Project Pad is two sheets of stickers. I used those stickers to add layers of embellishment on my page. I popped up flower stickers and of course butterflies. I used word stickers to bring more attention to the theme of the page. Stickers have for ever so long been a scrapbookers friends. Two sheets of gorgeous words and phrases and icons is enough to make any page a perfect page.
Third: the Project Pad also includes a wide selection of pattern paper. Let me share three ways I used pattern paper on this 5x7 layout page:
- the background is pattern paper
- the tab sandwiched between my photos was one I crafted from a pattern of the Project Pad paper
- then there was that black and white pattern paper torn from it's larger format. I used it too in the bottom right hand corner as a stapled on embellishment
It's all there. Solid cardstock. Sheets of stickers. Plus plenty of pattern paper. 179 pieces to make all kinds of perfect scrapbook pages no matter the size or format. The Storyline Chapters Project Pad is a scrappers friend and will serve you so well in all your making and storytelling.
