love me an encouraging stamp set
The stamp craze seems to be intense right now, no? Yes!
And I am here for it!
Epic Stamps for Epic Encouraging and Card Making
Altenew not only has a fantastic selection of stamp art. But this All Things A stamp is fantastic!...it is certainly one of those stamps always out and sitting on my table. I adore the sentiments found in this set. It certainly is A mazing. (see what I did there?)
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. I need this in letters as large as my craft room. I need to remember this everyday. No. Wait. I need to remember this every moment!!!
And what a most lovely gesture to place on a card or tag or art journal.
To make this card I grabbed a selection of Distress Oxide Stamps. Vellum is the main background to this All Things A card. I used the ScrapbookCom Dotted Stencil and laid down a layer of Tattered Rose dots on the vellum background.
Then, on the back of the vellum, I stamped the Altenew Dainty Swiss Dots with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink. I liked the way the more subtle black small dot played against the rose hue of the bigger dot.
I also took some time to play with those Distress Oxides on the 'A' that I cut out using the Altnew All Things A. The background was inked with layers of Distress Oxides. Then the A stamp was stamped to the die cut A with the Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink. This could become quite a hobby, this stamping and card making thing.
A label, from my stash, was torn and popped up on the A. Then a swatch of inked paper was stamped with that favorite Attitude sentiment stamp, also found with the All Things A set, and stapled to the label. Tadah! Another great card using great dies and stamps and ink.
I hope this inspires you to try this new stamp sets. Pull out your favorite inks. Get some creative play time. And craft some cards made by you.
This post was made possible by Altenew and sending me these stamps and dies. All editorial is my own. Because truly, I adore this product line!
