when you can't wait to tell stories on a page
I have photos. Storyline mini Inserts. Embellishments. and coffee. I'm here for it.
At the risk of saying it over and over, a little event happened in our lives a couple weeks back. My oldest daughter's wedding. And while I am not the greatest about taking photos while I am in a moment...I did just so happen to grab a few here at the house before we left for the barn in the forest. I'm so glad I did. While the photos are not perfect, they are meaningful. They tell me so many things. I could not be happier to share the beginning of this album with you today.
Care Free Paper Collection by Heidi Swapp is the most perfect collection for these candids I am crafting. The pinkish mauves are work so well with the colors of the photos! The gold plays nicely with the vibe of the event. The sentiments are completely on point. While this collection is versatile for so many different stories to be told, it also completely embraces the stories of this day.
If this looks like a smallish page to you that's because it is. I decided to use a Storyline Chapters Mini Insert for the album of wedding candids. While I know I will be crafting a larger album of the formal photographs for this beautiful day, this little book of pages is going to be a happy place for me to story for all the extras that were taken that day. Just one way these Mini Storyline Inserts are being used in my story telling.
There is a process video to go along with these first pages of this album. You will see in that video how I am attaching the Care Free Speciality Paper inside the cover of the Insert. You will hear why I went in the direction with this album and these pages. You will also get a little bonus process at the end of the video.
Watch how the cover plays out in the video. I've made it easy to follow along. I've made it so you can see how quickly these pages come together. I've made it full of inspiration so you too can make your own album made by you.
There are a few questions I am asking in said video as well. You don't want to miss that.
