DIY Easter Flipbook With Stitched Tag Holder by Jamie Pate
Last Easter Heidi Swapp made a mini journal for Easter. I have held onto that idea all year and now as we are a week before Easter I wanted to share the idea with you too.
Now. It does not have to be a journal flipbook just for Easter. This little project can be made for any reason, for any occasion. I just so happened to be inspired by Easter and the notes I will be taking and keeping leading up to Sunday. You. Do. You.
Using Art Walk Paper Line, I made a little mini flipbook from the patterned paper. To me this paperline just shouts spring. I have been quite the fan of the patterns found throughout the collection.
The flipbook is just that...it flips open. there are interactive elements found on the pages. And to help you make one similar there is also a process video included here. Cause it's no fun making these by oneself. Grab some friends and pattern paper and vellum and have a little girls afternoon making this.
Just a thought.
The flipbook is made up of three panels. The middle panel includes the Stitched Slots die to include even more interactive pull out tags. I lined the middle panel with vellum to soften up the hues from the paper just a bit. The Stitched Slots die cut paper is adhered to the vellum. Then separate tags were crafted, also from Art Walk Pattern Paper, and added to the slots. The pink label is included with the Stitched Slots Die Set. It made a good anchor for the die cut palm leaf and postage stamp sticker.
