what's black and white and cherished all over?
Photo albums filled with our favorite things, of course.
That's what's in my albums. Most of them are filled with photos from celebrations and events and everyday moments. Being a scrapbooker that is what is primarily found in my albums.
ScrapbookCom recently released their version of 9x12 and 6x8 photo albums. While many of my crafty friends who are not scrapbookers are finding amazing storage solutions within the pages of these albums, I am not. LOL Let me explain. I am just so excited to continue to fill my albums with stories and words and pictures. These albums are only adding to the growing library found in my studio.
I choose the more monochromatic themed albums. Black. White. Dots. Stripes. Gold touches. These are all playing well with my studio vibe as well as other albums in my collection. I really love that beautiful book plate that is part of the spine. Makes it super easy to type up the name of the album and place it up on the shelf. Easy to grab and ready to be home to more photos + words.
Inside the Black and White Dot faux leather 9x12 album is a dotted pattern inside cover. The embossed black dot is beautiful. The three D-rings measure about 1 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches. The excluse 9x12 ScrapbookCom page protectors fits perfectly inside the album. I'm eager to discover just how many pages of life I can fit in this album.
The other black and white album on my shelf is this 6x8 two-ring album. It's basically a smaller version of the 9x12 but with two rings versus three rings in the larger album. To me the black and white is a classic cover. It would be great for a December album. Or as I am using for a One Word 2021 album.
Inside is also a dotted pattern. This time the dots are embossed gold foil. There are a myriad styles of page protectors that fit perfectly inside the 6x8 album. As shown above, the Simple Scrapbooks Cards fit these pockets beautifully. This is the beginning of my One Word album that I will be sharing later in the week.
