As a paper crafter you know we go through glue and adhesive like no one's business. I'm here to tell you I have found another craft glue that is always within reach when I need a liquid glue for certain crafty situations.

So a little bit about this cutey little glue: Smart Craft Glue is a clear drying liquid adhesive. It works great with paper, cardstock and even vellum as I am going to talk about here. You are gonna want this in your crafty stash. It's also heat resistant, dries clear, and you can also use it with foil transfer projects too. I did not do that here, but it's on my creative play list to try, for sure.

Christmas craft is underway in my studio big time. This year I am really choosing to be intentional and purposeful in my crafting. I have also taken time to just play with ideas and techniques. This tag came right out of one of those creative sessions. Playing with the Minc Machine, Minc Silver Stars Reactive Foil, and Minc Texture Paste + SnowFlake Stencil I then crafted this tag cut into a circle.

The 'merry' is die cut from vellum. I knew I wanted to adhere it to my circle tag, but did not really think that through at the start. Such is the way with creative play. Right? Then I thought 'I wonder how the Smart Glue would work?" The 'merry' is in fact adhered with the Smart Glue. Now maybe it's because it is adhered to white cardstock, but you can't see the glue behind the vellum. I love that!!!

I also just love the Silver Stars Foil showing through with the snowflakes. But that's a post for another time.

Another way I used this glue very recently was with this Tim Holtz Holiday Greens Die Set. I cut the holly leaves with glitter paper. Then I also cut some berries. All were adhered to this page using the Smart Glue. It worked perfectly. And I'm pretty happy this is working out as I need my tools and supplies to work for me all the time.
