For today's video I not only go over the benefits and features of the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine and why it's an important tool for a paper crafter, seasoned or a newbie, but I also show how to make this Tag Mini Album.
Using Chipboard Stickers plus selections from the Sticker Book allowed this mini album to literally fall together. This page here is one of the tags cut from one of the dies. Using a piece of pattern paper from the Storyteller 12x12 Paper Pad, I opted for that bold yellow as this was going to be a book celebrating some of the fall photography I had been taking. The flower is from the Ephemera Pack. I used a Studio Calico label next and then layered the black Chipboard Thicker Sticker label over that. The Dream was found on the Sticker Book. It was all stapled together to create this embellishment cluster.
Shown above is the Magic Mat that fits the Big Shot Perfectly. This mat does not warp when used with your dies in the Big Shot Machine. Trust me on this. I have used it over and over and over. I've been cutting with this mat for weeks now. It still is just as straight as when I pulled it out of it's packaging.
In the video I talk in more depth about Big Shot. What specifically I like about it. Why it's an important part of my tool inventory.
As with any paper craft, this Tag Mini Album, made by you, would make a great gift for someone. Tags have been for me a go-to gift wrap or gift item to give as a gift for many years now. My sister even has a 'tag tree' that she decorates only with my tags. How great is that?
I hope this inspired some ideas for using the Big Shot Sizzix Bundled Exclusively with the Tag Die Set. It really is finding quite the place in my crafting these days. I'm off to go make more tags now.
