Today's page includes a few favorites:
- a family photo
- large digital cut file
- Minc Glue Pages
Using Heidi Swapp's Digital Thanksgiving Bundle, I cut out several of the word files in various sizes. These were cut out from the Glue Pages that are part of the Surface Pad that is included in the Heidi Swapp Minc Collection.
After they were cut out using the Glue Pages, then they were foiled with the Minc Machine using my other favorite, Champagne Foil. This is my favorite way to use the Glue Pages. It's my favorite medium to ccut a digital cut file. The Glue Page makes for such a great coverage of the foil. Every time.
Watch THIS video to see how these cuts plus the layout came to be created.
I used a pattern from the Scrapbooker Project Pad for my background. These 7 1/2 x 9-inch page sizes are my new favorites for scrapping and telling stories. It's hard to see in this photo, but I also used a ScrapbookCom stencil to add some texture to the page before layering on the embellishments and photo. Next the photo was placed at the lower third of the background paper. After the 'Blessed' was cut using the Glue Pages, I foiled the Blessed Thanksgiving Word with Champagne Foil and layered that over the photo so it would overlap the other embellishments as well. The 'people' tab is from the Scrapbooker Project Pad as well. Above that tab I added in the alpha letters to complete my subtitle.
A Journaling Spot is the element right above the photo with some stickers layered and clustered above that. Then a Storyline Chapters stamp was used for the date. Because I am always forgetting to add the date. What? I know!
Using the large format Blessed makes for a very impactful title. That title perfectly reflects my emotions when I look at this photo and these people. I'm blessed and amazed.
It's easy to add this kind of impact to a page. Large foiled titles are easy to make. Watch how it all comes together in the process video.
