minc texture paste techniques
Hey friends...
So here's the thing: I love to make. I love to create. I love to play with product. And while I am on the Heidi Swapp Media Team with assigned projects to make and share on my social media channels, I also just REALLY REALLY love to do it.
Like today's Minc Technique: the challenge of making something different to inspire you all into the making really fuels my heart and mind. I hope you enjoy this post, that is from an earlier post that I did for the Heidi Swapp blog.
This is a little series of IGTV videos I am preparing to unpack some Minc Techniques that I think you should be playing with too!
Today's post is one that shares a new (to me) Minc Technique.
Using the Heidi Swapp Minc Collection as found right HERE, I am taking vellum die cuts of butterflies, 'painting' them with Minc Texture Paste to create an outline of foil dimension on the vellum butterflies.
See that little painted line of Texture Paste on that vellum beauty above?
Watch the video on my IGTV channel to see how that was done.
The technique is super simple.
It just takes a few supplies: see links below...
When all is done, one is left with layers of foiled butterfly embellishments ready for any scrapbook page. Card front. Tag. Or package embellishment.
I love having pre-made DIY embellishments on the ready to grab to make any paper project complete.
Hey friends...when you shop these links below, I receive a small kick back from your sales from Scrapbookcom. There is absolutely no extra cost to you at all! But these commissions help to cover the costs of this blog and other expenses to provide you with these and other project ideas. I want to continue to bring you FREE inspiration. Shopping these links allows me to do just that. I can't thank you enough for your love and continued support.
