tell uplifting stories
I love to tell beautiful stories.
I find this art very uplifting, inspiring, and motivational to continue to tell our stories.
This layout shown here today started with that photo of my mom. My sister. And my sister's grandsons. They came to stay here for about two weeks. I had no idea I would ever say this: but it was sweet to have little ones running in the yard again. To hear the giggles. To watch the delight in the little things. To feel that all was right in the world because littles were playing so sweetly and innocently.
As I perused my camera roll from the day and came across this photo I was captured in heart and soul. I mean, just the fact that those little guys were actually looking at the camera and giving up those sweet smiles… It was just everything. Life is indeed made up of the little things, no?
Yes.
Today I not only want to share with you my dear readers a little bit of happy by way of littles, but also this video that processes through the details of this layout.
I am using Heidi Swapp Minc Toner Ink (with the Tim Holtz Brayer Technique) on die cut butterfly shapes. I cut the pattern paper from Art Walk.
I used Defintion Stickers plus those awesome black and whtie Alpha Stickers to add more detail to the page.
The background of the page is made by using an Exclusive Stencil from Scrapbook(.)com. I took one of the Ink Blending Tools and the Art Walk Pink Stamp Ink to create a subtle honeycomb background. You will see that in the video.
