how to stencil a transparency page divider

exclusive ScrapbookCom stencils are in the house

It's December and I am in the throes of not only all the Christmasy things I gotta do, but I'm taking time to tell stories in my December Album too. You can take a look at my foundation pages right HERE.
And with all this story telling happening for me it's also a call for creativity in said December Album. Honestly, I can't even help myself. I love the creative process.

Today I have a process video sharing just how I crafted this page divider from clear craft plastic.

This is a personal blog. All editorial content and projects are intellectual property of jamiepate.com I do receive financial compensation and material product and affiliate sales in the development and posting of my craft posts, but all ideas and opinions are my own.

Using the Honeycomb Stencil from the Exclusive Stencil Collection at ScrapbookCom, I scraped Texture Paste through the stencil onto clear craft plastic.

(In the video I am using the texture paste exclusively, see below for link to an available medium that works just the same.)

I knew I was going to run this pattern through the Heidi Swapp Minc Machine, and so I used Heidi Swapp Texture Paste as it reacts to the foil to create a foil finish. That texture paste may not be in your stash, so use the ART SCREEN INK instead as it works the same way.

Once the ink was completely dry on the craft plastic, I used Champagne Reactive Foil and ran the stenciled background through the Minc Machine.

STENCIL AND MINC FOILED TECHNIQUE

The foil stenciled background was embellished with Heidi Swapp Winter Wonderland Washi Tape, Ephemera and a die cut from the Stamp and Die Set.

I love how perfectly imperfect this mixed media technique is. I love that foiled glam up against the check of the washi tape as well as the softness of the vellum poinsettia.  I love those stencils!

This is just one way to use the ScrapbookCom Exclusive Stencils. I'm not even kidding...you may want to have the entire collection.
