how to make a giftable card
Pretty excited for this post today.
You know when you look back at a project from a few ago and you cock your head and say, ooooohhhhh...?
That is how this card makes me feel.
This was a go-to card I would make for special occasions. It's not your everyday card. It's big. It's pretty. It's pretty big.
This card today is sponsored by that collection we all love oh so much, Heidi Swapp's Honey & Spice Paper Line. What a beautifully crafted collection of color and pattern and hue and...sigh...I can't craft with it enough.
This card is made up of layers. And layers. And then a few more layers.
Check out this Pretty Big Card Process Video I made for you. Watch how I literally process through the making of this as I really did not know where this project was going to land. Watch me make a great mistake. And what I do with that mistake.
Did you see how I recovered this painted Embossed Paper tag? Yep. This is pretty much how it always goes here in the crafty studio.
This tutorial will show you how, once you make one card, you can just use the formula over and over again. Adding in different embellishments. Or for that matter different collections entirely.

I think the star of the show may be that Rose Gold Floral Vellum. This layer needed no embellishing at all. Watch the video to see what I mean.
Any opportunity to say it in stamps and encourage the receiver of a Pretty Big Card is big motivation for me. I think our gifts, even if they are in the form of a card should be meaningful, thoughtful, and I think we should be inspired to cause the receiver of our gifts to say, Oh wow!. Can I get an amen?
With so many opportunities this time of year to give, sometimes a really big card, with maybe even a gift card added into the layers, makes a beautiful impression. This idea can go a long way to make that teacher, group lead, boss, very good friend, or family member feel like all that.

Love this, beautiful card!❤️
