getting ready
The Heidi Swapp Media Team is getting ready. Getting ready for the new season and for Christmas that is to follow. If you look around you may have already spied a few sneaks at the new paper line: Winter Wonderland. Today I am highlighting tags I crafted from that collection. This is one way I play around with ideas for color and vibe that I will use for my Christmas theme this year.
This is a personal blog. All editorial content and projects are intellectual property of jamiepate.com I do receive financial compensation and material product and affiliate sales in the development and posting of my craft posts, but all ideas and opinions are my own.
Allow me to point out a few aspects of this collection. First and always there is the foiled Heidi signature words. This NOEL is beautiful set against the white background. Simply layered over the Layered Cardstock Stickers the tag was kept simple.
Adding an eyelet to the tag took it to the next level. Gives it a more sturdy feel. Especially if you use for embellishing gifts.
Ah. The classic black and white striped pattern paper. Honestly. I think this pattern paper belongs to any and every paper line. But that's just me perhaps.
And shall we chat about those Die Cuts for a minute? Because...must have!!! This set is already a hot seller. You can find the Stamp and Die Set right HERE, but honestly, it's going fast. I'm warning you now...you are going to be seeing a lot of that cutey little deer as well as that awesome 'Christmas' die here. There. And everywhere on my crafts this season. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Final tag I will share with you today is star of the show...see what I did there? Actually, this is to show off the star icon that is also part of this line. The background paper is a perfect Christmas themed paper. But I am pretty sure one will get even more mileage then that from this paper. I topped it with another pattern paper I die cut into a larger star.
The Ephemera includes several vellum pieces. I love the delicate gold foil on this small tag. It sets it off in such a classic way. The stars are also part of the Ephemera pack. I added in the die cut vines from my stash. Be sure to use dimensional tape when crafting tags like this. It just gives great height and dimension to the tags and makes them that much more interesting.
To be sure this is not the last of the Winter Wonderland you will be seeing here on this blog. I have lots of ideas for this season's paper crafting. I'm pretty sure I am just getting started. For those of you starting your Christmas cards now...and I envy you big time, I hope this little tag inspiration gives way to even more Christmas crafting.
