how to plan for the next month

journaling in the new month
What a month July has been.
As today is the last day of the month, there are lots of thinks happening in my mind.
One of those thinks is how will I go about organizing my days with the new season.
Yes. It's a new season here as school starts for my 10th grader tomorrow.
And everyone of my school kids will be attending a new location this fall school semester.
That brings with it lots of changes.
I want to be very open to the changes...
How do I go about this?
First I think. I think about how I want to go about this. See what I did there?
Then I start to plan. I have kept a daily jotter for the better part of this year. It has really changed how I record my days. Record my to-do lists. And keep track of certain ideas and plans.
This new month, new season, and this love for a daily jotter has caused me to plan better for this next (crazy!!!) month.
Inspired by Heidi Swapp and her recent Journal Studio postings, I am going to utilize those journals for this purpose.
The hardback insert is perfect for being able to grab my jotter/journal and be on the go.
All the things will be gathered together so I can make notes, write down meal ideas, and highlight good stuff with stickers if the need arises.
This is not re-creating the wheel for the system I already had going for me. But it is definitely streamlining all the things.
This journal could not better put into words my mental mindset. There are a lot of things on the horizon I think I can't do. But I want to do. So I need to change my mindset. Get more organized (hence the Journal Studio approach). And be open to whatever comes next.
Would you like to follow along with the process? Let me know in the comments. And let me know too if you also keep a daily jotter or journal.
