scrap supplies and your space
Do you decorate your space with your scrap supplies?
I have to confess. When I am out and about shopping, (sort of a rare thing for me, but it happens on occasion), I can't help but keep my eye open for containers or table top decor that adds to my studio.
Mugs with creative themed words add much charm to my space. Oh. And when I found that 'hope' at Mardel...my one little word this year, I knew it would be a great addition to my desktop display.
The Memory Dex Spinner is always out and forward. It too makes a great decorator AND memory keeping piece. I love having that wonderful display out.
My Ikea shelves can be a hot mess at times. But it's my hot mess. Filled with storage. And albums full of photos. And many of my favorite supplies. It's a happy place for sure.
I think it's important our environment reflects who we are, and who we want to be. I just so happen to think scrappy paper supplies, plus all the lovely things you can make with those supplies, can make for a lovely atmosphere.
Whether your space is an apartment, a corner in a room, or the dining room table, I really hope you have a place you can call your own. A place that displays who you are. And a place where you can happily make pretty stuff.
