asking a question

thinking lots of thoughts
Hey friends...
We are one week till the end of July. This month I ventured more here on this blog than I ever had. It was a personal goal, as well as a challenge, to see if I could provide content here daily.
It's been an interesting little project. There are positives to this daily habit. But there are other matters to consider as well.
Here is one idea I have noticed. And then I have a question for you. I would like you to speak into this a bit for me if you would be willing.
I can show up here daily with a smattering of content and idea.
OR...
I can show up here once or twice a week with deeper more meaningful content.
Now. Put like that, I think if I were to pose the question to you of which you prefer the preference would be for deeper content.
It does make more sense, no?
See how writing something down helps to separate from the problem and gain better perspective? That tip there was free.
I would love to hear from you.
Maybe as I plan out the next few months of content, I may just want to jump in here with short journal like entries. But then put the emphasis on better content with step outs and maybe even bundled product kits for you to participate in as well.
So. The question?
Do you prefer a daily blog post?
or fewer, with more meaningful creative content?
I would love to hear from you.

I would say that I would prefer more meaningful creative content. But NOT because I don't read or enjoy your posts; but because I don't read anybody's blog daily. And if I did it would only be a musician or close family. I may not always comment on your shares; but I do read them. Thanks for asking! Keep up the wonderful work!
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate your words. Thank you for commenting. And I get not reading blogs daily. It's interesting to me how we move around in this tech world. And thank you for reading!!!
DeleteI love both! Maybe switch it up between the two. I have loved your daily nuggets so much. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us.
ReplyDeleteThank you very very much. 'Daily nuggets'...that's nice. You are right. They are more 'nuggety' than deep. And I have had some friends comment that it's almost like a daily journal entry. I will for sure consider your words.
DeleteI agree with GRACE FOR ALL SEASONS comment! I love both and enjoy reading your blog daily for inspiration and creative ideas. But in the end, whatever works best for you, we don't want you to get burned out... and then what would we do without your daily or weekly nuggets? :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so kind. I don't want to burn out either. ha ha! And it's not really a matter of burning out. I think I am consiering about quality vs. quantity. And...I don't want to waste your time, either. I appreciate when you chime in, Belinda. You have been an encourager to me.

ReplyDeleteHey Donna...would love to hear your thoughts...
DeleteI love seeing bits and pieces on Facebook and insta but don’t have time thru the week to read blogs much.
ReplyDeleteSo I’d be once or twice a week gal.
Totally get that! I'm like that with some of my favorite blogs. And what I find for me right now (always subject to change) is that there are bloggers who I know will give me more depth, and so I am actually starting to spend less time on FB and IG and more time on their blogs. Just what's vibing with me right now.
DeleteI appreciate your daily tidbits but to be perfectly honest I would refer less posts but more content. I absolutely love your work & love to see what you do & enjoy details on how you do it. I’ve watched your work for a long time with Heidi Swapp & now see it w other artists. You are an inspiration! If I have time I will read daily; if not I will just skip over it & wait for your post with more content. Which ever you choose I will still be a fan!
ReplyDeleteTotally love your honesty. And true story, if I was asked this question from paper crafters I follow, I would say the same thing. Content please!!! (hand raised) Seriously giving this a lot of thought. And thank you SO MUCH for following and reading. You made my day!
DeleteI would prefer fewer posts with more meaningful content. Less daily pressure for you & less pressure for me to keep up, right!?! 😊
ReplyDeleteAhhh...less pressure for me...this is actually one way to look at it. And I hear ya for sure. Thank you for your input. I appreciate it muchly.
