Just one definition of memory planning
Is it memory keeping?
Is it planning?
Is it planning to document memory keeping?
YES!!!
To all the above.
Admittedly the approach to memory planning here in this here planner is heavier on the memory than on the planning.
If the truth be known, I feel like I plan my life to the nth degree. There is always at least one list. Not to mention my kid's schedules and places to be. Oh. And there is the grocery planning. And the volunteering that needs planning and organizing. And let’s not even begin to talk about all the goals and business planning at work here.
Memory Planning is a place for me to actually rest. And refresh. And I like it just like that.
This March recap post is intended to share the planner pages of this past month. To inspire some memory keeping. And to promote a reset as we are at the beginning of another month.
This is what amazes me most with my memory planning:
to place these photos and words in this book…this sort of memory keeping in real time.
Then to take a pause between months, and say…wait…what?…that happened this month???
That’s what memory planning is to me.
Don’t get me wrong. If you follow this blog, you know my love for story telling and traditional scrapbook pages is strong. But memory planning is different. It’s a response to what happened today. It’s a peruse through the camera roll to recall what happened yesterday. And it’s laid out on a page in a concise and timely manner to be remembered in the future. And it’s a moving on to the next month.
sigh. Yep. that’s sort of it in a nutshell for me.
