Introducing the new Illustrated Faith Collection: Faith Over Fear
This collection could not have come at a better time in my own life.
This week at Bella Blvd's blog the Creative Team is breaking into the new collection from Illustrated Faith called Faith Over Fear.
Today I am using the new Bible Journaling Kit. This kit includes 3 cardstock sticker sheets, 1 clear sticker sheet, 39 die-cut paper pieces, 1 roll of washi tape, and 1 tip-ins booklet. That's a total of 205 pieces of Illustrated Faith goodness. Plenty of product here to fuel any type of Bible journaling.

This bold and iconic collection was created by Shanna Noel and includes the beautiful hand lettering of Amanda Arneill. I love all the black and white. I love this theme of living out faith and the reality of overcoming fear. I love I can have these uplifting words available for my planners, journals, and scrapbook pages to convey a most inspiring message.
The black and white iconic images are just waiting for a wash of watercolor. Here I pulled out the Illustrated Faith watercolors, some of my favorites out there, and took to adding hues of green and blue that give a bit of pop to these paper pieces. It does not take much color to give this page a perfect feel.
For these pages on prayer in my faith journal, I layered paper pieces and words. Some are colored with watercolor and colored pencils, some are left in classic black and white.
Above a Tip-In is layered with washi tape and a die-cut paper piece. All these are layered over a wash of color which brings focus to the subject at hand: prayer.
The arrow seen here is from the Cardstock Sticker Sheet. I found that the stickers take watercolor beautifully. I love having all this white with simple touches of color.
Stolen moments in my faith journal are of great value to me. Not only is there a meditative-ness that comes from adding these creative touches to my journal, but these pages are sure to secure my attention when I browse through in the future. The creativity and the words combined together create a most meaningful collection.
So what have you been up to in your faith journal? I would love to know what works for you and how you spend your time there.
