Let's talk about one way we can attempt to slow down the blur of life.
Today's post is about one thing.
One way I have found to slow down that darn-tootin' blur.
One way in which I have found success to take a little breather in this thing called life.

July came and went. Just like I knew it would.
It was a big month for this family. Which in turn created several moments and happenings that needed to be documented.
My Memory Planner (seen here is the 2017 Heidi Swapp Love Life Memory Planner), is a daily and vital part of blur-taming.
And here's my secret...
here is how I remember the details...
here I will share with you just what it is I do to slow the blur...
I write it down.
Did you catch that?
Write. It. Down.
I write down all the things. I make it a daily habit to sit with my planner and gather my thoughts and fill in the what. The who. The where. And of course the when is already recorded when using a medium like a planner.
How else am I able to reflect on my day and the way it was filled?
This is my history. This is my record of my life. This is the evidence that I was here.
And this is known...because I write it down.
Every photo is a story. And that is my history. And even if all the photos don't make it to my planner, there is still a story. A story to be told. My story. I am the only one to tell it.
I keep a diary. A journal if you will. I have for years and years. But a journal is different than the role this Memory Planner plays in my life.
My Memory Planner is my blur stopper. It's this immediate gratification of daily life and all the nuances felt within those days. It's a most valuable tool in my personal life.
But in order for it to be a tool that works, I have to fill it in. I have to write it down.
I cherish these memory planners that I have kept for several years now. There is never a regret for having taken a few moments every day to fill in thoughts and details from my heart and mind.
