happy happy

National Scrapbook Day was this past Saturday...
I seem to always miss it for some reason or another. But I had several layouts, um...in a pile no less...and I wanted to share them in the spirit of the day and the spirit of scrapping and the spirit of documenting our most favorite moments.
This is what I call a throw-back Wanderlust page from Heidi Swapp's Wanderlust that is still very much alive and well. There is plenty of the collection to be found here on Scrapbook.com .You can check it all out on that link.
This is one of those pages that really speaks for itself. It exudes happy and these two faces posin' for the camera. It wasn't a planned photo shoot. They were simply hanging out together and I took advantage of the moment. The joy of the lens speaking loud and clear.
This little Wanderlust Envelope well, it's the perfect space for adding a personal note as this page belongs to my youngest daughter's album. One day she is going to own this album and start exploring and discover that I have hidden all kinds of notes throughout her pages. Just is just one of them. The happy is die cut from the Happy Die. Double it up for a title and a gold arrow through the middle to give it a bit of focus.
Lastly, don't forget a bit of foil that's easy to add using the Geometric Foil Kit. Yeah...it's gold. Sort of random. Sort of arsty. Sort of just fun.
And that wraps up one of the NSD layouts I was lucky enough to share Saturday. Let the spirit of documenting those memories in a pretty way continue.
