desk decor ~ c'est la vie by pink paislee
2.11.2016
C'est La Vie from Pink Paislee is not just for cards, layouts, or Valentines. Work spaces are perfect places for the beautiful touches of that new collection.
The need for files on my desk is real, people. I attempt very much to work on a clean surface, so a place to stash paper work that is in the midst is pretty important to me.
Pattern Paper 04 is one of my fav papers from this line. It was used to cover a box that fits my files perfectly. Love that brick texture and 'Liberty' ad. It makes for a lovely focal point for this file box that serves not only to be pretty on my desk but useful as well.
Another addition to my desk...
A DIY calendar box. An upcycled box, pattern paper, a hook, and the Acetate Letters/Numbers made up this little daily help that my 5 year old insists on changing every day. He must know I need all the help I can get.
The box was covered on the edges with Paper 03. A hook was screwed into the top of the inside of the box.
About a 3x3-inch piece of card stock was covered with Paper 12 and a hole punched in the top.
Glue dots are used on the back to adhere the numbers to the tag. They peel off pretty easy and can be changed out every day.
The tag easily re-hangs on the hook inside the box.
And those are just a few ways I put Pink Paislee's C'est La Vie to work in a beautiful way every day.
