Do you bake Christmas gifts? The year we were first time home owners...
I remember I was looking so forward to baking yummie holiday goodies. Wrapping them up in a unique way (yep...even back in the day I had to have my way with the wrap). And taking a morning to deliver the goods to neighbors. As the kids came along, it was a highlight for them too.
Well the tradition continues. Baking up sweets. Wrapping them up pretty. Giving them away. This year I am adding Pink Paislee's Yuletide to the mix. Have you seen the new collection for Christmas from Pink? It is full of all the traditional colors. Traditional icons. Brought to you in gorgeous hues of grey and green and red with glimmers of gold.
For this set of food gifts I wrapped up the mini bread loaf in a good food plastic. Taking a swatch of pattern paper, Snowfall, I wrapped it around the bread. On top is a tag from the Ephemera pack along with a gold foil tag and a popped up die cut holly. The red striped paper is from the 6x6 Paper Pack. I love those mini patterns found in that package.
The second loaf starts the same. This time I punched a snowflake from pattern paper and 3D'd it atop the snowflake already on the tag. A Glitter Enamel Shape gives the finishing touch. Tie a 'rush delivery' gold foil tag and it is ready to be given away.
or even better...
invite a few friends over for holiday tea...
give your food gifts away...
and have a lovely holiday season.
