OK people...
if you know me...
if you follow me even a little...
More than that...
I like making pretty packages with pretty stuff.
Yep.
That's my favorite.
What I am excited to share with you today is all the new packaging that is all Heidi Swapp and will be available exclusively at JoAnn stores. These products should be setting soon. Watch my IG as I will let you know as soon as it has been spotted. But this year there is all kinds of packaging and wrap and labels and tags and...oh my! fun fun stuff to make for gorgeous over the top or down to earth sweet packaging for your gifty needs this Christmas.
I will share a bit of how to wrap your little foodie giftables.
Your homemade goodies...
And even your store bought munchables. But make them oh so fun for giving this Christmas. Can ya tell I am excited...I love this stuff!!!
So let's start sweet and simple. My daughter is at it making amazing cake truffles. These just happen to fit perfectly inside the cutie Paper Treat Bag. These bags are waxed lined so that makes them perfect to fit just a little something-something. I am thinking sweet gift exchange between school mates.
Here is what is needed to create the tags to go on the front of the Treat Bag.
Treat Bag
Gold Sticker Seals
Ribbon (which is what the gold garland is part of)
Gift Tags
notched tag from pattern paper
gold clip
doily
It's just a matter of clipping it all up. Place goodie in the bag. Fold top edge over. Layer doily, then notched pattern paper tag, a glitter Gift Tag, a Gold Sticker Seal and clip it all together with a mini clip. I snipped a bit of the gold garland and twisted it to the top of the tag. Done!
Next we have Jamie's famous Caramel Corn...I mean one of my favorite box packages. This particular box is covered with little gold foil dots...so adorable. Here's what you'll need:
Paper Treat Bags (gold foil dot)
Gold Sticker Decals
Twine
Gift Tags
The Treat Bag was filled with the caramel corn. I used glitter tape to close the top and keep it in a box shape. Twine was wrapped around the box a few times. The snowflake tag is included with the Paper Treat Bag and was tied to the twine. Then I layered a Gold Sticker Decal to a Gift Tag and also tied it to the twine.
Done.
What is so great about these gorgeous packaging items is how simple they are to put together, yet look so great.
The last package is not too different from the previous. But sometimes you just need to pick up a goodie already made up and sweet. That is what I did here. These pretty red foil chocolates do not take away from the thoughtfulness of gift-giving just because they are store bought. Because that packaging makes it so gorgeous.
Here's what you'll need:
Paper Treat Bags (red candy-cane stripe)
Assorted tags (kraft)
Premium Ribbon package (also comes with gold garland)
Oh What Fun 6x6 Pattern Paper
other: crinkle paper
jingle bells
Basically adorn one of the Assorted Tags with strips of pattern paper and Ribbon. Tie on some jingle bells and be sure to tuck in pieces of crinkle paper.
Three ways with three packages for Christmas and holiday gift-giving. Be sure to tag me on Instagram if you too get in the Christmas spirit and start your gift making. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
These are darling Jamie! The last one is my favorite! (but truthfully, I don't want to think about Christmas yet!!!:P)
