I have a little fun post to share with you today...
You may or may not remember a few days back that I posted a home decor paper and MarqueeLove project using the o' so fabulous Cedar Lane from Pink Paislee?
This was the kit I used...these Marquee Love kits are available at Kohl's and a few other retailers. But they are so great because they are already colored, they are plastic, and they come included with pre-cut templates and felt jack 'o lantern pieces. Perfect for kiddos!
Oh and look...I just happen to have one of those...a kiddo that is! and he was chomping at the bit to get his hands on this pumpkin and play.
Which is exactly what he did. He was content for a while just to play with the face pieces and interchange them back and forth and make all kinds of goofy faces.
He sort of took me by surprise. I assumed he would want to get right down to business and make the pumpkin face...but play was the first order.
He decided on the mouth. And then the eyes.
But wait....maybe not...
OK...mission accomplished. And oh so proud. This was so much fun to do with this guy. It really was. He's a hoot anyway, but to see him go to work on his jack o'lantern made for a delightful morning with him.
Ta dah! And here is sits proudly.
These kits are also available in a bat, a ghost and I think there is even a witches hat floating around out there too. Be sure and check them out at Kohl's.
Enjoy and let your kids enjoy too.
