First of all...have you seen the cutie little MarqueeLove Craft Kits out there at stores like Kohl's and scrappy stores? They are plastic marquee icons made popular by Heidi Swapp and her letter and number marquee...
but they are plastic...
and Halloweenish...
and cute!
They come with glitter and black/white stripe inserts for the pumpkin...
plus felt jack o'lantern faces...
my 5-year old cannot wait to make his. They are super kid friendly and simply a lot of fun.
But today I am steppin' it up a bit and thinking outside the pumpkin marquee...
and making is super fallish with Pink Paislee's new collections.
I decided to keep it not marquee...and simply use the shape for a center to this happy fall vignette. Is that alright that I did that?
I used Pink Paislee Memorandum Paper, that wood chevron pattern...oh it's so cool!!! Using the glitter template that comes in the marquee kit, I traced that to the chevron paper and trimmed out the pumpkin shape.
The paper fit right back into the pumpkin shape easy-peasy.
Next I wrapped twine around the entire pumpkin and secured it with a bow and knot. The Cedar Lane Glitter Words are eeking to be used in our fall decor. Like Right Now!
So here is to a non-marquee love made with MarqueeLove. In my humble opinion, both the Memorandum AND the Cedar Lane from Pink Paislee will have us all set to create many beautiful items for friends or our homes for this season of gratitude ahead of us.
Oh my I love this! It would look awesome on my tiny mantle ;)
