and welcome to summer...
and welcome to a month at a glance...
The busy summer schedule, which I am not complaining about, has, however, kept me from doing pL every week.
I approached June with the whole month in scope.
And in doing this...stayed with a color scheme...
which I loved!!!
Yellow is summer to me.
And so yellow told the story of our June.
In between the first and second week of June I added a 6x4 pocket page that I trimmed in half.
Like how this added interest plus home to some extra photos I needed to tell our story.
There was a certain calm I was able to enjoy while working on these pages more than a single week at a time. Life is lived so re-actively sometimes, one wonders...what did we do? and did we enjoy it? was there worth to it? This project answers for me again those questions. The little everyday-daily stuff that makes up our life is significant to us. We all continue to cherish our traditions and happenings in our family.
This week allowed for us to tell the story of the most significant disaster in our city as well.
The fire that destroyed so much.
How we are healing.
How we contributed.
And how that part of the city will rebuild and renew.
I have more to add to this and know it will mean so much to us a year from now when we look back at it all.
Thanks for letting me share.
Hoping so much that you are able to keep up with your projectLife if you are doing this project.
