Margie Blog Hop
Forgive me.
There is not a full post on the prompt from this past months one little word.
As many of you know I live in Colorado.
I live just a few miles from Colorado Springs.
We experienced the worst fire disaster this week that has ever been in this state.
We experienced a fire storm of epic proportions.
We experienced the loss of 346 residences.
We experienced 32,000 evacuations.
We experienced tears, fear, and utter discouragement.
So my family's attention has been on this fire this week.
Checking on friends we know have been evacuated.
Checking to hear who still has their home.
Checking our own hearts for what is important.
And my olw for this year, gifts, continued to translate itself into thankful for so many gifts that I have.
So while I do not have the art part of this project completed...
my heart is ever still engaged with my word as never before.
If you would like to view what I did last year (this month's was one of my favorite prompts),
you may go here. This was a fabulous artistic exercise, and I look forward to catching up with it soon.
Please continue the blog by going to Amanda's blog here.
