1.04.2010

here it is

i am so thrilled to introduce my one little word for 2010.

it might seem obvious to some.

maybe even trite.

i wish i knew how to relay how powerful this word has overcome me in the days since this new year has taken over the calendar.

i will save that for another post.

i already understood definition 1. as that is what i was hoping for.

you must know...i am trusting in something more than good qualities, or fairness and truth.

for me it is trusting in Christ more than i have ever even thought i could ever before in my life.

i'm telling you...it has taken over me.

my need to trust has become a desperate situation for me. i desperately need to trust and find out the true depths of that word. HE is already showing me. and i have to say, i am one amazed daughter right now.

but that is for another post.

now about definition number 2. the position of somebody expected by others to behave responsibly.

o.k. that is very huge for me.

relationships in which my trust level MUST increase::

Mr. Pate

my children

friendships who are on the surface that need to deepen.

oh! i am so excited by THAT new challenge. this is a serendipity of the word. i am so very fueled right now to go after these relationships in ways i have missed in the past.

but remember..."old things have passed away, behold, all things are new"!

yeah for that.

since trust is an obligation...or actually a two way obligation, there is much action to set into place.

and you know what happens when a decision is made...the power to pursue it immediately happens. it is amazing. it is currently amazing me.

there is much to share in days to come. the comments from Friday's post have energized me and blessed me all at the same time...thank you. i very much mean that.

and may the pursuit of your word bless and keep you this new year.

  1. Great choice my Friend!
I also like the fact that it is both a verb and a noun...

    Hugs~

  2. What a journey - awesome word. I applaud your leap.
"Jesus told him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!'" (John 14:6-7, NLT)
