The blog hop continues from Willow Traders...today's creativity brought to you by the LEO challenge with the number 13. This is the 13th challenge of the every other day layouts. I have not played along the whole time, but I did jump in around the middle and have had a great time of being challenged to use up stash or think outside my little box.
This layout above is super-duper simple. The challenge was to use old stash. The cardstock is older than I can know. The photo is from 2007. And the middle piece was created using up the rest of a half used sheet of rub-ons from stampin up. I utilized those pieces to make a patterned paper of sorts. I will probably use that process again. Even though this piece did not totally finish up as I had visualized, for the most part it worked well, and I am after all attempting to embrace imperfection {snort}.
The layout is also based on one I saw that Celeste Smith has in her gallery at 2p's. I like her work and will probably be lifting more. Here's what she did...
enjoy your hopping!
