here's a better shot of some detail.
now for our rooster frame. same thing...thought it needed to be painted...but the photos i had in mind lended themselves to a distressed wood framing them.
with this photo i used the same vintage tool to edit. the text was added using the cezzanne font from p22, one of my most favorite fonts. this time it was printed on textured eggshell bazzill. it turned out so great. again, i distressed the edges and inked. matted it on more textured cardstock, and stuck it inside that $2.00 frame. i love it.not sure if i love how much it looks more than i love that it was so frugal and has so many of my touches...but it is a wonderful addition to my 'paris' guest bathroom, and it makes me smile everytime i see it.

OMG these turned out great!!! I was just looking at an old framed mirror today that is in my garage thinking I should do something with it too. Now I need to go at it :)
